Cooley Distillery continued its medal winning tradition at this years fifth annual San Francisco World Spirits Competition with their collection of Single Malts leading the way.

The San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC) is the most comprehensive international spirits judging held in the US on an annual basis. Founded in 2000 SFWSC continues to grow each year in entrants as well as in stature and integrity within the industry. Since inception the number of spirits entered has doubled making this the most influential spirits competition in the US.

This year, 19 San Francisco World Spirits Competition judges tasted through products in over 70 different spirits classifications. Spirits companies competed for Bronze, Silver, Gold and Double Gold Medals in all the major categories.

Even with this increased competition Connemara continued its award winning reputation with a Double Gold Medal for its 12 Year Old offering. Such success reinforces Cooley's belief that Connemara is one of the best whiskies in the world.

Cooley's other offerings at this years event were also successful with the recently repackaged Tyrconnell Single Malt winning a silver medal for the second year running and Kilbeggan Irish Whiskey winning a bronze medal.
